Franklin Ink is the main character of The Pale.
Known as “Fink” to his friends, Fink is one of the FBI’s top linguists and translators. He also has a rare condition called prosopagnosia, better known as face blindness. It can make his job a little... difficult.

Fink was raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. His father was a postal worker and his mother worked at the university, and is an only child. He went straight to college and eventually made his way to the FBI bureau.[1]

- In The Pale's universe, Fink has done the Inuktitut, Norwegian, and Russian translations for Twilight, as well as translations for The Hunger Games.[2]
